Bambu Bootcamp Part 3- Bring Your Own PC!

Take your Bambu Studio skills further in this hands-on class designed for experienced users looking to improve their workflow and printing results.

Working on your own laptop, you’ll learn how to create process presets for specific filaments, such as silk, and modify provided STL files using tools including cutting, adaptive layer height, seam drawing, and painting. We’ll also explore Bambu Studio’s right-click options to adjust print settings and achieve your desired results.

To put these techniques into practice, you’ll prepare your own 3MF projects using the provided STL files. We’ll finish with an interactive discussion about the settings you selected, the adjustments you made, and how different approaches can affect your prints.

Experience required: Participants must have prior experience using Bambu Studio and be comfortable navigating the software. This class does not cover introductory 3D printing or Bambu Studio basics.

What to bring and prepare

The instructor will email the STL files before class. Please come prepared with:

• A laptop capable of running Bambu Studio. iPads and other devices that cannot run the software are not suitable.
• The latest version of Bambu Studio installed and ready to use.
• The provided STL files downloaded to your laptop.
• Your laptop’s power adapter and charging cable.
• Familiarity with using your mouse or touchpad and keyboard to select objects and navigate the software.

Class duration: 90 minutes. Please arrive 15 minutes early to get your laptop set up before instruction begins.
