Join us for a free, hands-on Winlink Workshop designed to help amateur radio operators get up and running with the world's leading over-the-air email system. Whether you're preparing for emergency communications, interested in digital modes, or getting ready for the upcoming Simulated Emergency Test, this workshop will help you build a working Winlink setup.

Winlink is an essential tool for ARES/RACES and emergency communications, allowing radio operators to send and receive email over amateur radio when traditional internet infrastructure is unavailable. Because configuring Winlink can be complex, this workshop focuses on providing one-on-one assistance so participants leave with a fully functioning system.

Led by Bob (KV4PC) and other experienced Winlink operators, the session will cover a variety of hardware and software configurations, including soundcard radios, external interfaces such as Signalink and DigiRig, HF and VHF radios, software modems, Terminal Node Controllers, and Winlink clients for Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS, and Android.

Participants are encouraged to bring their radio equipment, computer, interfaces, and accessories for hands-on configuration and testing using GigaParts' antennas. Our goal is to help you troubleshoot your setup and get on the air before the Simulated Emergency Test.

This workshop is free to attend, but please reserve a ticket if you plan to join us. Registrations help GigaParts measure community engagement and ensure we have adequate resources available for everyone.
