A hands-on workshop for STEM educators, robotics teams, mentors, and students

GigaParts and Bambu Lab are teaming up for a hands-on workshop where you'll build, wire, and program the CyberBrick Robotic Arm Hardware Kit (ZK009) from the ground up, and your team keeps the kit when you're done.

Working in adult/student pairs, you'll get real hands-on time with one of Bambu Lab's newest educational robotics platforms, no prior CyberBrick experience needed, but some background in robotics, engineering, or maker projects will help.

Every team walks away with a free CyberBrick Robotic Arm kit, and everyone who attends is entered for a chance to win a Bambu Lab A1 Mini 3D printer with filament.

In this workshop, you'll:

  • Assemble a functional robotic arm from a CyberBrick hardware kit
  • Learn the fundamentals of robotic arm mechanics and motion control
  • Explore ways to bring this platform into STEM classrooms and robotics programs
  • Put your build to the test with hands-on challenges
  • Join a live Q&A with the Bambu Lab team and project contributors

Who should attend

  • STEM teachers and educators
  • FIRST® Robotics mentors and coaches
  • Robotics club advisors
  • Student robotics teams (with an adult teammate)
  • Makers and technology enthusiasts looking to level up their skills

A few things to know before you register

This build has some complexity to it, so we're asking that students come paired with a parent, teacher, mentor, or coach. Registration is limited to one adult and one student per team, the adult should register and list their student teammate's name at sign-up.

We're capping this at 25 teams so everyone gets real hands-on support, so don't wait to grab a spot.

What you'll walk away with

Whether you're bringing robotics into your classroom, looking to inspire your students, or just want to build out your own maker skills, you'll leave with hands-on experience on a modern educational robotics platform, plus a few new connections in the local STEM community.
