Shanon is a distinguished cybersecurity professional with over 40 years of IT experience, including 24 years as a Senior NCO in the United States Air Force. Currently serving as NASA's Cyber Lead for Application Platform Services, he oversees a team of 21 professionals managing security for more than 1,200 applications across cloud and on-premises environments nationwide.

Throughout his career, Shanon has excelled in various roles, including 20 years as a government contractor for the U.S. Army, where he progressed from System Administrator to Commercial Communications Site Chief. His experience spans penetration testing, training National Guard Cyber Protection Teams, and deploying overseas in Kosovo for a decade. He holds numerous certifications, including CEH, CISSP, CISM, and PMP.

As founder of Covenant Training Center, Shanon is dedicated to making cybersecurity accessible to everyone, regardless of their starting point.
